I would like to apologize if I seemed hostile in my last blog. It was nice to vent about the situation but I may have been a bit harsh.
I had another ultrasound this morning. All was the same...I have a feeling it will all be the same until these girls decide they are ready to come. I was excited to hear that they will be measured next week. I am anxious to know how big these girls are getting. Myrtle has moved a bit to the left side of my belly button. She is usually centered behind my belly button. So maybe she has had such a growth spurt that she needed to move over. I really feel like they have grown so much. If my belly is a sign of growth...then I guess they are growing. Because everyone of my guests comments on how much bigger my belly is since being put in "jail."
I received my results back from the 24 hour urine collection and blood work. SURPRISE...my protein count was the exact same as last week. I figured it would be good but the results were the exact same. So wish me luck...I will request to not have that test done every week until I give birth unless I show signs of needing it.
It was a pretty quiet day around here. I was a bit lazy all day today and didn't even venture to the terrace to enjoy the weather. Today would have been a perfect day to push my limits and walk around outside. If the weather is good tomorrow afternoon and depending on my nurse, I will see if I can get away with walking down the forbidden stairs. HEHEHEHE, I am such a rebel.
The cafeteria is being scrutinized for its lack of performance. Apparently, they get meals wrong and food is delivered cold. After every meal or day, I have to give a verbal survey to the patient care tech. I am a picky eater so I pick the same meals everyday without much variance. Besides the fact that meals are delivered to me LAST and lunch came at 2:00pm today, it hasn't been that bad. The milk isn't very cold when it gets to me. So I keep a spare in the fridge and switch it when the meals are served so I can have cold milk. So that was my one complaint. Now, the food is getting worse. I ordered a chicken fajita, with no tomatoes, well tonight I didn't eat it because it was full of tomatoes. I complain about one thing and then all others fall apart. They probably spit in my food too. Joking...I hope.
No one called or came by about meeting in the support group today. Guess they didn't have it or I just slept through it. Like I said, I was really lazy today. I think I am gonna watch a movie. So until tomorrow.
