This morning started out pretty busy. Got a visit from Dr. Doris, OBGYN. He was just checking up on me. There are lots of comings and goings here in the morning. The nurse is surprised to see me up and going at 930am. She said all the other women on this hall are still sleeping. I don't see how because at 800am every morning, my vitals are being checked. And I get asked my 60 questions along with all my vitals and heart monitoring. I look forward to the days that I could sleep in but I have yet to find a good nights sleep here.
I got another ultrasound today around lunch. Dr. Eller wanted me checked this weekend because of something he saw on Friday. I believe I will be getting an ultrasound everyday now. Unfortunately, Flossie shows signs of absent blood flow in her umbilical cord. They find the absent flow close to her belly. The blood flow gets better the further from her belly. So now they are watching her blood flow more closely. But at least she is showing good flow in most parts of her umbilical cord.
As for Myrtle, she is the same. She just has absent blood flow throughout her umbilical cord. Now they are both showing out and causing concern. Those are my girls!!!
I really hope this is not a pre-tell to what is coming after they are born. If so, these girls are gonna be quite a handful. But it doesn't matter to me. I look forward to it. Sure...I say that now. It wouldn't be in their nature to not be into something. They get it honestly.
I just can't wait to meet them. I see the babies in the nursery everyday and wish it was my time to see my babies laying there. I can wait because that is what I am supposed to do but I hope the time flies by.
Twin girls were born today. They were 5 lbs 1 oz. and 4 lbs 14 oz. and they looked so beautiful. Not to mention the 11+ lbs baby that was born today. He was a giant. He had cheeks that went on for days.
Until the next ultrasound...

ReplyDeleteHello, my prayer is for God to fix the problem with the unbilical cord blood flow and for the girls to complete their gastation period without an more problems. Keep your faith and continue doing your best for the girls. These are trying times for you now, but you will be rewarded soon. May God bless you in your wait for the girls to be born. I am a Church friend of Sammy and Marie and you have great parents.
