The mayhem in my house, sibling vs. sibling vs. Toby, continue as previously stated. Although, it seems to of calmed down since we last reports the fangs coming out. There hasn't been any reported cases of cat fights ending in bodily harm.
However, we did have an incident last night when Quinn attempted to smother Brooklyn. We have the cars that they ride in with cute little eyes. They love them. We conveniently have two of them to satisfy each of their needs to ride. So why oh why must one car be fought over? Brooklyn was half in the car and half out. Her top half was inside and her knees were on the ground outside the car. Well, Quinn wanted to play in it also and crawled on top of Brooklyn's half which was still inside the car. Quinn is now sitting on top of Brooklyn, pinning her down face first in the seat of the car. She can't move and is screaming for help. Her head is pinned up under the steering wheel and Quinn has shifted to sitting on her shoulder. She is oblivious to the fact that she is hurting her sister. Correction, she seemed to not care about the dreadfully scared screams coming from her squished sister. I finally got Brooklyn out and felt so sorry for her. I know Brooklyn can dish it out but it just seems like Quinn is dishing so much more and more often. I just cuddled with Brooklyn after that and felt so sad for her.
Ten minutes later, they were rolling each other up in the Princess couch and thought it was hilarious. Love...hate relationship.
Among all of their "tricks" they perform for everyone, Brooklyn has achieved another odd trick for the crowds. As I have mentioned before, they will fake cough just to get a response out of you. Now Brooklyn will fake sneeze expecting a "God bless you." She has perfected it and last night she did it non stop. Odd thing is that it does not sound like and sneeze and she looks like she is having a seizure when she does it. But it is a VERY distinct noise. She had the biggest little grin on her face. She seems to feel accomplished. As she was doing this "fake" sneeze show, Quinn was doing a cough show to get some attention. Quinn can be quite jealous...most of the time. So she will do what she can to get that attention away from Brooklyn or just to get it period.
Occasionally, they will see who can squeal the loudest. It is very entertaining.
I am going to ask for a prayer request. Miss Quinn has been battling a severe diaper rash for quite some time now. I have tried several different ointments and nothing seems to help or prevent. She will be cleared up at night and her first poop the following morning just skins her bottom. She has a few spots that are blistered and raw. I just don't know what else to do. So a little prayer would be appreciated.
