Today we went to our 1st NICU Reunion at Gwinnett Medical Center. It was really great to see the nurses again. Of course the place was packed out! We saw so many kids there. We were excited to see the girls neighbors in the NICU. Joel and Jeremy were in the beds next to the girls for most of the time they were in NICU. They are some chunky little boys. It was so weird seeing them so fat when the last time I saw them they were only 4 lbs each. Like their Dad said, "It is amazing how things change in one year." And he is completely right. These miracle babies are extremely special and I was very proud to be apart of such a crowd.

Let me just tell you that Quinn and Brooklyn have become quite the little dancers. They have even been known to dance in church. We have recorded the Mickey Mouse show and they have a song they sing at the end of the show called, Dog Diggity, or something like that. They can be in the next room busy with something and hear that song on the TV and they break the world speed crawling record. They get in the living room and just start break dancing. It is hilarious. We play it and watch them to just get a huge laugh. I LOVE IT! Brooklyn is serious about it. She has all the dance moves and is in complete concentration to hit her mark. Quinn will really get into it to but B is all about it. The rest of the world stops so she can dance.

With that being said, Quinn and Brooklyn stole the show on the dance floor. They had a DJ at the party and we put the girls down and they boogied! They seriously drew a crowd. Everybody was taking pictures and asking if they did that at home. And we told them, yes, they will dance anywhere and everywhere music is playing. They were so stinkin precious.

We do have some accomplishments going on right now. Miss Quinn is still saying DaDa and will say MaMa when she throws her toys out of her car seat and wants them back. So it starts! Brooklyn still doesn't say DaDa. But she will break out with MaMa. Yes, I got one of them. It wasn't her first word but it was before DaDa. YAY! She will also say BaBa. This works for babble and Bye! They are both waving. But Brooklyn is more into her waves. She had two different waves. She will squeeze her hands together and then release and it is so cute. Other times she will wave her entire arm. Quinn is finally catching on to the waving thing. Brooklyn started clapping her hands and taught Quinn how to do it. So now when you are getting on to Quinn to stop doing something, she will turn to you smile and start clapping her hands. She is too funny! And so cunning!

Brooklyn has found Quinn's eyelashes. She loves to rub them and now she rubs our lashes. Thing is...she is quite gentle. And Quinn will just sit still and let her rub her lashes. Brooklyn is the most observant baby I have ever encountered. She will see you move something from across the room and you will not fool her. She notices the smallest of things. She studies people and their actions. It really is intriguing to watch her learn. Well, to watch both of them learn. It is amazing what they already know. They already know what a phone does. They will talk on their toy phones or put our cell phones to their ears.

They have discovered they DO NOT like to wear bows in their hair. Brittany tries so hard to keep bows in their hair. Even if you don't have a bow in their hair, they are constantly feeling for one. They will occasionally just rub their hair to make sure one isn't there. Such little tomboys!

Speaking of Brittany, she is working out amazingly. She is really great with the girls. Every week, I come home to new artwork on the refrigerator. It is so sweet. She is really great with the girls and I can see them really warming up to her. They cry at the door when she leaves. Not sure if that is a good thing but definitely a sweet thing. She makes things so much easier.

Brooklyn has started to not want to eat this week. She took three bites of her breakfast and sealed her lips. But she did take her entire bottle. So I don't know if it is the teething, she is becoming ill, or she is becoming a picky eater. I don't know what to do. We had to start her on vitamin supplements because her iron count was low. So I don't know if that has anything to do with it. I really don't want her to be a picky eater. Unfortunately, I am a picky eater and it is quite inconvenient. It makes life more difficult when you think about what food you are eating.

I have a funny story to come later. Must get my beauty sleep!
