Oh...so much has changed with these little girls. They are getting so big! We have now graduated to 0-3 months clothing. Well Brooklyn has a bit more growing to do before they look good on her. They have gotten so much more personality. Quinn is a serious flirt. She will sit up (on the pillows) on our bed and look at you then curl up and turn to the side and hide her face. Then she will peek up at you and smile. Silly girl. Brooklyn is starting to flirt but she is more into making these baby tiger sounds when she wants attention. She has done this a few times and mostly in her carseat. She is too funny.
Early in the morning both the girls are in the happiest moods. They will literally start squealing with laughter. Stinking adorable.
We are started to notice that they are noticing people. If someone new holds them, they seem unsure. The look on their faces tell all. It makes me feel even more special when they see us and start smiling from ear to ear. Absolutely precious little angels!!
They are now talking to each other. Richard and I will lay them together and watch them talk to each other. They will look at each other and smile and talk. We love it. It is truly a blessing to see them interact. It is so hard to believe just a few months ago they were in the NICU. They have come so far and they are doing better and better with each passing day.
I have been noticing scars on their arms and hands from the constant poking and prodding with needles. I am hoping they will gradually disappear. Quinn has a big one on her arm.
I took Brooklyn to the dr on Tuesday. I was a bit paranoid so I called the office. I told them her symptoms and they feared an ear infection. So I took her in to be examined. Turned out she just had a clogged tear duct. She was having some serious crusty eye boogs. I will defend myself in saying better safe than sorry. Good thing is that she got weighed. She is now weighs 8lbs 5oz.
We have started cereal. Lovely. Richard and I have a mess of a time. They will have cereal in their hair on their toes...everywhere. Quinn insists her thumb is feeding her. She will put her thumb in her mouth and go to town. Problem is that is makes even more of a mess. Brooklyn tries to talk while she is eating. So that makes for a mess. Now, I have witnessed Nana Anna feed them and she has none of the problems we have when feeding. Other than the hands in their mouths, they do really good eating from a spoon.
Babies are telling me they are hungry.
They are growing and growing soo much!! I can wait to see the messy pics from their feedings!! Way to go girls!! Whats the score by now??? Kelly & Richard- NONE Twins- 1,000 ?!!?! hahaha
ReplyDeleteI talk about your girls all the time and what a miracle they are. I tell everyone I work with how sweet your "mommy posts" are. It is great that you really get what joy parenthood can be and how blessed your little family is. I love to see the pictures and hear how well they are doing.Nannette
