We are raising TURKEYS!!!! Those two girls are going crazy! They aren't even walking everywhere and they are into everything. They have found window blinds and love trying to pulling them from the windows. They have found a new ability of pushing the chairs from the table around the floor. They get stuck at the rug and turn them around and continue to push them on the hardwood floor. It is quite loud and dangerous. Quinn is usually the one to back Brooklyn against the wall and finds it funny to see if she can push Brooklyn through the wall. Brooklyn either gets pinned against the wall or between the chair she is pushing and Quinn's chair.
Quinn is starting to climb on the couch. She is a pro at this time because she will scale the couch in a matter of seconds. Before we realize it, the channel is changing on the tv and then is when we notice her sitting on the couch with remote in hand. She has also master crawling from the couch to the top of the end table. She thinks it is hilarious but we just feel that it is still a bit dangerous. So that has been a trying habit to break.
Quinn is also starting to walk more. Richard said she hardly crawled last night. Brooklyn still hasn't reached that comfortable state of walking. She will walk from item to item but other times she will quickly change her mind and start crawling.
Needless to say, they are EVERYWHERE. We will come home and Brittany says we have crazy kids today. I mean you can get a work out keeping up with these two monkeys.
Richard was getting him something to drink last night. He peeked in the living room and saw Quinn sitting at the head of Toby's face. She had the look of no good on her face. So he said "Quinn, leave Toby alone." She looked at him then quickly turned back to Toby and snatched the Cheerio from his back and ate it. That turkey put a Cheerio on his back and laughed that she did it and then ate it. I need another word besides "silly" to describe these girls. Quinn has definitely gotten a "up to no good" look and a "evil" look. Brooklyn has started a "fake" laugh and she has the sweetest "who me" look. She will tilt her head a bit to the side and give you that look. It is priceless to watch them tell their feelings through their looks.
Now, keep in mind, we try to promote the "Leave Toby Alone" rule in our house. It isn't a well followed rule and he will get so frustrated on finding a new spot to lay every 10 minutes. They torture him so much. They are constantly putting their toys on his head and laughing at him. They will put rings on his back and leave them there. But they do love on him and adore him. When he is at the door and they want him to come in, they make their dog noise and we let him in and they go crazy. All I have to say is poor Toby.
